How we are funded

The Institute of Cancer Research, London, works closely with a number of funding organisations, including Cancer Research UK, Breast Cancer Now and the Wellcome Trust.

We also have a close partnership with The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, and together receive funding from the National Institute for Health Research for our Biomedical Research Centre.

As a college of the University of London, the ICR receives funding from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

To safeguard our position and provide for our sustainable expansion, we aim to continually increase and diversify our sources of income.
