Information for patients and the public

Thousands of people with cancer are currently taking part in our clinical trials and we work closely with patient advocacy groups to continually improve our research.

To find out about the trials we manage, visit our clinical trials pages. Where possible, each clinical trial page includes a link to a plain English summary, which you may find useful.

Joining an ICR-CTSU clinical trial

Please speak to your cancer specialist to find out whether you, or someone you know, would be suitable for one of our clinical trials.

Public involvement in research

We value patient and public involvement in research and work closely with patient advocacy groups from the earliest stage. If you are interested in getting involved in clinical research in an advisory capacity, you can find out more by visiting INVOLVE, People in Research and Independent Cancer Patients’ Voice.
