Boost your donation through Gift Aid
Help fund cancer research at no extra cost to you
Through the government's Gift Aid scheme, for every £1 you have donated in the past 4 years and continue to donate in the future, we can claim an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs.
This will make your donation to us worth 25% more at no extra cost to you.
It might not sound like much, but in the financial year 2024/2025 the ICR claimed over £105,822 in Gift Aid income. These additional funds represent a significant boost to our fundraising and contribute to helping us make the discoveries that defeat cancer.

FAQs about Gift Aid
Tax is always paid on the gift of money given to a charity from a UK taxpayer. In the UK charitable donations are exempt from tax therefore charities can claim this back from HMRC which adds tour donation.
Unfortunately, we cannot claim at the higher tax rate. However, you can do this by including your annual donation on your tax return – ultimately, you’ll get a rebate on the difference.
To allow us to claim Gift Aid on your donations, we need your full name and home address. HMRC uses these details to verify your eligibility, so it’s important they match the information they hold.
You qualify for Gift Aid if you: choose to add Gift Aid, that you are a taxpayer and if you pay enough tax.
Please can you let us know regarding your new address once you’ve moved using our contact details – we would really appreciate this. Call us on 020 3437 6258 or email [email protected].
