Experience the London Marathon
Join over 50,000 runners and thousands of spectators and experience an atmosphere like no other. Starting in historic Greenwich, you'll weave through South London before passing the iconic landmarks of Tower Bridge, Big Ben and finishing at Buckingham Palace. The London Marathon is one of the most prestigious marathons in the world and we'll be with you every step of the way.
Your support will bring us one step closer to defeating cancer. Whether you're running for someone affected by cancer, in memory of a loved one or for any reason, your support will fund innovative ways of detecting cancers, discovering new treatment options and producing life-changing research.
Apply for a charity place
Our charity place applications are now open. Each charity place has a registration fee of £75 and a minimum fundraising target of £2,750. There are limited places in the event so please include as much detail as possible in your application.
Once you have applied, we will aim to get in touch with an outcome by the end of August.

Use your ballot place
The public ballot for the TCS London Marathon 2027 will open very soon. As well as applying for one of our charity places, we would encourage you to enter the public ballot for another chance to get a spot.
If you are lucky enough to get your own place (announced in June 2026) you can still raise money for the ICR, please let us know below. There's no fundraising target, just raise as much as you can and get all the great benefits of being part of #TeamICR!
