Professor James's team focuses on improving and designing clinical trials for prostate and bladder cancer.
Professor James is a clinical academic who seeks to improve patient outcomes via large scale clinical trials. His work focuses on bladder and prostate cancer with a strong emphasis on novel trial design.
I am a PhD student under the joint supervision of Prof Nick James, Dr Anna Wilkins and Prof Alan Melcher. I am working on analyses of clinical trial samples from patients with various stages of bladder cancer undergoing chemo, radio and immunotherapy. I am interested in how the immune microenvironment changes during therapy, and how immune markers correlate with tumour stage, prognosis and outcomes of therapy.
Anna Wilkins is a Clinician Scientist at the ICR and an Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology at the Royal Marsden, working in the Prostate and Bladder Research Team.
