About the Enterprise Unit

At the ICR we are committed to transforming scientific discoveries into new treatments for people with cancer by working with industry. The ICR’s Enterprise Unit is a pioneer of its type in UK academia, and helps us to drive our research impact and deliver benefits for patients. We are the most successful higher education institution in the country at generating invention income from our discoveries.

We interact in a number of ways with commercial partners who can provide the resources and complementary expertise required to take our research findings through development, manufacture and into the clinic.

Our focus is on maximising linkages between academic research and industry, to embed and build upon institutional and partner strengths.
