A significant minority of patients with advanced and aggressive cancer have survived more than 10 years after treatment with one of the first successful targeted cancer drugs.

Members of our Discovery Club gathered at Chelsea Physic Garden in London earlier this month to learn about the unique challenges posed in treating cancer in teens and young adults.

Leading researchers from The Institute of Cancer Research, London, and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust attended a reception at Number 10 Downing Street with Prime Minister Theresa May – to raise awareness of research into sarcoma, a rare cancer.
