Clinical Trials Contracts

The Clinical Trials Contracts team, part of the Enterprise Unit at The Institute of Cancer Research, works to draft, review, advise on and negotiate contracts for clinical studies that involve either the ICR or our partner hospital, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.

Acting as a gateway to researchers carrying out world-leading clinical studies, the Clinical Trials Contracts team sets up contractual agreements with a range of companies on trials of new drugs and other cancer treatments – including at the Drug Development Unit at the ICR and The Royal Marsden, and via the ICR’s Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit (CTSU).

The experts in our team manage a wide range of contracts including drug supply agreements, site agreements, material transfer agreements, data transfer agreements, chief investigator agreements and amendments.

The team has strong relationships with a number of companies including AstraZeneca, Merck, Pfizer and Elekta.
