IT and bioinformatics facility

The IT and bioinformatics facility within the Division of Structural Biology uses an extensive range of desktop, server and clustered IT resources. These are coupled with a constantly updated toolset of open source, commercial and in-house software for the analysis and interpretation of X-ray crystallography and electron microscopy data.

In combination with the X-ray crystallography facility, the IT Facility provides guidance on the use of bioinformatics and structural biology software.
