Rosetrees Trust - supporting innovative research at The Institute of Cancer Research
Rosetrees Trust was established in 1987 to fund life-changing medical research. It has supported our scientists with more than £400,000 since 2001, principally for prostate cancer research and for research into childhood cancer genetics under Professor Nazneen Rahman.

In 2011 the Trust pledged further support to help advance research into skin and head and neck cancers, as well as sponsoring a PhD student researching cancer imaging under Professor Martin Leach.
The Administrator, John Samuels, says, ‘Rosetrees Trust supports research into new therapies and sponsors outstanding young researchers. This is just what the ICR does with its teams of outstanding researchers whose record of achievement is of the highest quality, which is why the Trust is happy to support it.’
We are indebted to Rosetrees Trust for its support over many years. We also appreciate the manner in which they approach our scientists’ work, requesting biannual reports and yearly meetings. A strong relationship between the Trust and scientists has developed.
