Every year cancer claims the lives of more than 150,000 people in Britain, and an estimated further 7 million worldwide. It is forecast that more than 1 in 4 of the UK’s population, or over 14 million people, will suffer some form of cancer during their lifetimes.
Reassuringly, significant advances have been made in reducing mortality for a wide range of cancers. New Dawn details recent developments at the ICR and provides background to our continuing fight against cancer, highlighting the areas where we need your support.
