We are establishing a Tumour Profiling Unit which will analyse patients’ tumours, helping us to understand the genetics and biology of the tumour cells better.  

This new facility is central to our strategy to develop personalised medicine and will be relevant to our research across a range of cancer types, including prostate, breast, sarcomas and blood cancers, as well as childhood cancers. 

For the Unit to achieve maximum impact we need to raise £1 million to buy the latest genetic sequencing equipment and boost our computing power.
