China trek

Trek the Great Wall

Stretching 6,000km in a dotted line across China, the Great Wall was begun in the 5th century BC.  As it snakes across the mountains it conjures up an incredible sense of history - and connects us to the vast remoteness of rural China.

This trek is very varied, passing through woodland and terraced farmland, following the contours of these beautiful mountains north of Beijing - almost always within sight of the Great Wall.

Take a look at pictures from two of our fundraisers:

Steven Chambers and Nathan Courtust.
