Meet the Data Team
Koveela Govindasami
Koveela has always had a keen interest in cancer research which led her to study an MSc in Genetics of Human Disease at UCL. She worked as a Clinical Trial Scientist before joining the ICR. She is looking forward to the new challenges as the study co-ordinator for UKGPCS.
Emma Sawyer
Emma has returned from Maternity Leave at the end of February 2011, having given birth to her second son.Previously Emma has worked on the study as administrative assistant and has recently been promoted as the new Data Manager replacing Lynne O’Brien. She is looking forward to the new challenges in her new role. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, walking and spending time with her family.
Rosemary Wilkinson
Rosemary started work as a laboratory technician then moved to medical administration which has been her main interest since. She joined the study in 2005 and took on the role of part-time data manager in January 2009. Out of work she enjoys country walking, bird watching, gardening, reading and the theatre.
Angela Morgan
Angela Morgan is now the new UKGPCS Research Nurse. Angela moved into uro-oncology research nursing in 2008, following a career background in community and urological surgical nursing. Angela joined the UKGPCS team in April 2011. She says “ I am really excited to be involved with such an important study for men”.

Getting Involved as a Patient
Our target is to recruit 26,000 gentlemen into the UKGPCS by 2017. Participating in the study involves completing two forms and providing us with a small sample of blood.
