Imaging studies using dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) have been applied to studies with angiogenesis inhibitors and magnetic resonance spectroscopy is an integral part of studies with SR4554. Molecular biomarkers of activity have been successfully studied either at ICR or in collaboration with the company involved with HDAC inhibitors, an mTOR inhibitor, DNA methyltransferase inhibitors, receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors, and the HSP90 inhibitor 17AAG. As with PK studies we are working to enable these assays to be conducted to GLP.
