Cell Culture Facility

Facility manager: Dr Valerie Good

The baculovirus (BV) expression service exists to supply the Division of Structural Biology with a means of achieving a high level of expression of recombinant proteins in a eukaryotic cell environment.

The service will routinely prepare viruses from recombinant BAC-TO-BAC plasmids. Users can book the expression of recombinant proteins in BV infected cells.

Important information:

The services of the BV group are only available to members of the Division of Structural Biology. Requests for BV expression from outside the ICR can unfortunately not be considered. This page is intended only as an information resource to the baculovirus community.
