New Drug Development Strategy - NDDS Conference

ENCCA-ITCC-EU Tumour Groups

Neuroblastoma: Pathways, Targets and Drug Development

Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 December 2012
Chelsea Village, Chelsea Football Club, central London
It will start at 11.00 on Monday and finish at 17.00 on Tuesday

The European Network for Cancer Research in Children and Adolescents (ENCCA), Innovative Therapy for Children with Cancer (ITCC) and the EU Tumour Groups have had a number of highly successful New Drug Development Strategy (NDDS) meetings in rhabdomyosarcoma, acute myeloid leukaemia, renal tumours, hepatoblastoma and medulloblastoma.

In view of the genetic complexity, importance, poor prognosis and large number of potential drug targets in neuroblastoma, we are now hosting a New Drug Development Strategy meeting in neuroblastoma. The objective of this meeting is to prioritise targets in neuroblastoma and then use this to influence drug development eg. if the meeting concludes a particular target is of great importance in neuroblastoma then this produces a greater scientific rationale to undertake early clinical trials in neuroblastoma. The proceedings of the meeting will be published in the European Journal of Cancer.

We would like to invite you to participate in this exciting initiative and feel that your expertise would in invaluable.
