Scientists at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, employ a wide variety of computational approaches in order to better understand cancer and discover new treatments. This includes various artificial intelligence techniques such as machine learning. 

Recent examples of research that has used artificial intelligence include predicting how cancers will evolve and spread, revealing new types of breast cancer, and identifying women with especially aggressive ovarian cancer.
