Library with students studying

By providing world-class expertise and support to students at the ICR, we hope to advance cancer research and clinical practice not only within our organisation, but throughout the field. Our alumni continue to follow successful careers across the globe, many being world leaders in their discipline.

Resources

Our e-learning team provides two educational websites that give background knowledge and training for our research degree students. These resources allow for self-directed learning structured around research work and other commitments, and may be used at a time and location convenient to each user.

The libraries in both Chelsea and Sutton provide dedicated PhD study rooms, with PCs and printing facilities available for readers, as well as plug sockets, network ports and wireless access for laptop use.

Academic Board

The Academic Board reports to the Executive Strategy Board upon all academic and teaching matters and questions of education policy.

It ensures that the ICR, as a college of the University of London, has a rigorous and responsive quality assurance framework in place, and develops and delivers the learning, teaching and assessment strategy.
