RT Plan

RT plan outlining tool

RT Plan is an educational website for oncology clinicians and trainees in three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy planning (3D-CRT) for patients with localised prostate cancer.

Patients treated with 3D-CRT have improved treatment outcomes and fewer side-effects compared with those undergoing conventional radiotherapy.

The core of the site is a training tool where users can outline target organs (such as the prostate) and structures at risk (such as the bladder) on CT slices taken from real cases. They can see three dimensional reconstructions of their outlines, and gain expert advice and guidance on their performance.

Availability

Following a formal evaluation of the site's educational benefits, the site will be available to healthcare professionals worldwide.
