Relax and Breathe

Relax and breathe CD and yellow headphones

Relax and Breathe, an award-winning audio CD developed collaboratively between the ICR and Macmillan Cancer Support, uses relaxation techniques to help people with breathlessness better cope with their symptoms. This resource complements A Breath of Fresh Air, a tool for healthcare professionals on the management of breathlessness.

It is mainly for people with lung cancer, but it is also suitable for anyone experiencing breathlessness caused by other conditions. It can be used at home as a self-help tool or with a health professional as part of a programme of relaxation.

Order

Relax and Breathe is available free to patients. It is also available as a resource pack for healthcare professionals, which contains a booklet with advice and guidance on how to use the CD in clinical and community settings.

If you would like to order a copy of Relax and Breathe, please call the Macmillan Resources line on 0800 500 800, specifying whether you require the patient or healthcare professional version. Please note that Relax and Breathe can only be distributed within the UK.
