The aim of the Programme is to train students to work at the interface of cutting-edge research in different disciplines so that they gain the skills required to translate basic research discoveries into targeted cancer therapies and patient benefit.
Students will be co-supervised by Supervisors in two different disciplines from cell, molecular and structural biology; systems biology; and molecular pathology. The Programme will train students to integrate skills and knowledge from different fields and gain the confidence to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
This four-year PhD Programme is funded by the Medical Research Council and The Institute of Cancer Research. Before applying, students are strongly advised to view the MRC eligibility criteria.
