Our sites
Scientists at the ICR conduct their work at one of two sites, one in Chelsea (London), and the other in Sutton (Surrey).
Chelsea
Among other facilities, CBL houses the ICR’s supercomputing, robotic microscopy and mass spectrometry laboratories.
These are being used for a unique initiative to study the biological origins and manifestations of cancer, progressing understanding of how drugs can successfully treat networks of cancer cells.
The Chelsea site is home to the Divisions of:
Sutton
The Sutton campus hosts the majority of the ICR’s drug development operation.
This essential ICR department demonstrates the multidisciplinary approach of the Institute, bringing together chemistry, medical imaging, microscopy, and clinical trials in a central location.
The Sutton site is home to the divisions of:
- Cancer Therapeutics
- Clinical Studies
- Genetics and Epidemiology
- Molecular Pathology
- Radiotherapy and Imaging
