Information for new students

Registration

After you have arrived and met with your supervisors, you need to visit the Registry, showing your: 

  • passport
  • visa
  • degree certificate(s)

In addition, you will need to complete a student registration form. Registration forms must be returned to Registry within two weeks of starting. 

Once you have registered we can provide proof of your student status.

Security card

You will need to contact Site Management to make an appointment for a security card. Security cards must be worn at all times and you must inform Site Management if you lose your card.

Please note: security cards are only issued between 11am - 12noon and 2.30pm - 3.30pm.

IT account

To obtain an ICR email address, and access the ICR network, your supervisor should complete and send an IT account request form to the IT helpdesk. The form is available on the ICR intranet.

You will also need to contract IT to arrange an induction.
