Life at the ICR

Students

Our sites

Scientists at the ICR conduct their work at one of our two sites.

Both sites are next to the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, a hospital whose unique partnership with the ICR forms Europe’s largest Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

Student Committee

The Student Committee represents student interests and it arranges academic and social events for students.

ICR conference

We hold an annual conference for all students. It provides an opportunity for:

  • research postgraduates to develop their presentation, communication and networking skills
  • introducing new team leaders to the ICR community
  • showcasing the current research being undertaken by the ICR

Students are also encouraged to participate and enter one of the scientific competitions.
