Aims

The aim of this programme is to attract applicants who have the potential to pursue a career as an academic clinician and support them as they undertake a research training programme.

 

Structure

The programme will cover:

  • target identification
  • target validation, requiring skills in cell and molecular biology
  • biological structure determination
  • medicinal chemistry
  • mechanisms of drug action
  • development of biomarkers
