Education
The ICR is a college of the University of London and provides postgraduate higher education of international distinction. All our students receive advanced scientific training at the leading edge of cancer research, care and treatment, guided by a faculty of world-class academic scientists and researchers.
Demand for entry to our post-graduate research degrees and taught programmes remains very high with many top-quality students from the UK and overseas being keen to join us. In addition to those following MPhil and PhD degrees we continue to offer clinical research students a two-year part-time Advanced Degree in Medicine (MD Res).
Whilst the ICR’s primary educational activity has a focus on research, our first post-graduate taught course, an PG Cert / PG Dip / MSc in Oncology, commenced in March 2006.
The ICR has an award-winning Interactive Education Unit that provides subject-specific and generic skills for both research and taught programme students by electronic media.
